Employment Advisor – Description

Our Employment Services support people who have, or are recovering from, mental health problems and wish to return to paid employment, voluntary work or training. Delivering locally as part of an established Service, as Employment Advisor you’ll enable them to achieve and sustain employment. If you want to develop your career in information, advice and guidance, add your skills to our dedicated Employment Advice team and make a real difference to people lives. As Employment Advisor, you will:

  • Support people to gain and sustain employment and reach their employment goals.
  • Offer guidance, advice and coaching, identifying employment opportunities, work experience placements and training opportunities.
  • Build positive links with local employers and partner agencies alike.
  • Provide advice in personal and skill development areas, such as CV building, interview preparation and techniques confidence building/assertiveness.
